We are an impact-driven startup.

HelpBridge is an impact-driven technology startup that provides a free information platform for Hong Kong’s migrant domestic workers.

Since launching in March 2022, the app has garnered over 1700 users and answered more than 500 questions, through our strong partnership network of 11 non-profit organizations across Hong Kong.

We started as a college incubator project aimed at connecting domestic workers to charities. Today, HelpBridge is a dynamic technology and community platform led by a trio of hungry innovators.

Our Team

Myles Ng

Chief Executive Officer

Raised by a domestic worker in the Philippines since he was a child, Myles co-founded HelpBridge to close the digital information gap for migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong. With deep experience in nonprofit and human capital management, Myles nurtures strategic partnerships with NGOs in the HelpBridge ecosystem, and leads growth and product operations.

Mikaela Sun

Chief Operating Officer

Raised in the Philippines, Mikaela has witnessed the countless hardships many of her fellow countrymen have had to face - both back at home and in a foreign country such as Hong Kong. She co-founded HelpBridge with the goal of utilizing her innovation skills to develop a comprehensive solution for the marginalized migrant worker community.

Edwin Chan

Chief Technology Officer

Edwin is currently pursuing a financial technology degree at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is in charge of maintaining and improving the HelpBridge app's code base and developing new features to improve the user experience of the HelpBridge platform.
